The Southern Fly Fishing Hall of Fame strives to recognize and honor those men and women who introduced the sport to the region and have perpetuated its spread through the South. Those individuals have been founders and promoters of the fly-fishing tradition through crafting the gear and flies of the sport, exploring the waters of the region, communicating the thrill of being on the water, conserving the fisheries on which the sport depends, or acting as ambassadors and humanitarians in educating the general public and opening the fly fishing world to the wider community.
